Quium UC Management System




The Quium Unified Communication Management System is designed to be intuitive and easy to use!

The system is purpose built for the Cisco Unified Communications platform, and modular to enhance, extend, and improve the functionality and features of your system. Quium provides a Single Pane of Glass screen for managing "Adds, Moves, Changes" with Advanced Error Checking to execute "one click to resolve" solutions for the Cisco Unified Communications Platform.

In addition to the IP Device Configuration (IPDC) application, there are currently two modules available; IPD Location Tracking, and a Self Service Portal for End Users.


IP Device Configuration (IPDC)

Device Configuration within the Cisco Unified Communications platform often means processing complicated tasks requiring the configuration of dozens of settings across multiple pages, which can consume a great deal of resources and can lead to mistakes.

Quium simplifies complex tasks within a single console page for easy management, and often only requires 1 or 2 settings filled out. Administrators can then easily allow anyone to manage phones and enable complicated features, all with 100% accuracy, and Quium's management console brings all related components and features to a single page for easy management. New users can be configured much quicker and more accurately than via the built-in CUCM GUI. IPDC also provides instant feedback on configuration errors, and gives one-click-to-fix functionality.

IPDC greatly simplifies all Adds, Moves, and changes of users, phones, lines, voicemail, Jabber, Single Number Reach, enables automatic population and hides all unused settings. Variables, advanced formulas, and masks allow for automatic generation of critical fields.

IPDC is a power player to add to your team and will provide consistency, accuracy, and speed to the management of your CUCM platform.


IPD Location Tracking

Tracking IP Phones in a large campus environment can be enormously challenging, where users often move around from office to office and from campus to campus. Often the IT or Telecom departments are notified in arrears that personnel have physically relocated making support, E911 compliance and emergency response challenging in the best of circumstances.

IPD location tracking aids troubleshooting by allowing easy identification of which switch and port a phone is located on. IPDLT provides a comprehensive view to all new phones, rogue phones, phones that have dropped or moved phones on your network and can alert staff or send scheduled updates. It prevents loss or theft by identifying where a device is currently connected or where and when it was last connected. And you will be able to provide verifiable documentation to compare with E-911 solutions on phone location and changes.

The IPD location tracking module provides Phone Location Tracking with reporting of new phones, moved phones, phones that dropped of the network, and rogue phones.


Self Service Portal (SSP)

IT or Telecom administrative resources are often stretched thin making the costs and efforts associated with managing user accounts very challenging. The Quium UC Management System Self Service Portal (SSP) greatly reduces the administrative workload by enabling end users to manage their own phones and enable advanced features.

The Self Service Portal enhances Cisco UC security by authenticating and validating all user interactions before sending them to the UC servers. This allows the Cisco UC servers to be locked away from direct user access greatly enhancing the security of critical voice services.

SPP is a very valuable addition to the IPDC by allowing end-users to add new devices or make their own changes. With SSP you can enable end-user control but still be able to limit the amount or extent of activity based on your level of comfort.

SSP enables end users to update phone and line configurations and build their own Jabber clients for use on mobile devices. And SSP allows them to personalize their own phone and line settings, securely without the need for direct connectivity to the UC Server.
